My contribution

I handled most of the preparation and maintenance of the fleet: Windows and Kali Linux workstations, dual boot or iPXE network boot as needed, updates, and setting up the network and services required for the workshops. I also took part in taking inventory of the equipment, organizing access to resources, and helping run several Tech Time workshops.

Highlights

  • 30+ workstations prepared and maintained
  • Windows / Kali Linux, with dual boot or iPXE network boot as needed
  • Equipment inventory and organized access to resources
  • Infrastructure for the Tech Time workshops, including an introductory CTF designed and run by LCSP

Goal

Structure, prepare and maintain an IT workstation fleet for student projects, associations and workshops, using the equipment entrusted to SUPINFRA.

The fleet

The fleet has more than 30 workstations, set up with Windows and Kali Linux as needed: with dual boot, or through iPXE network boot. Maintaining them covers system updates as well as setting up the network and services required for the workshops. Taking inventory of the equipment and organizing access to resources complete this work.

Tech Time workshops

The fleet has been used for several Tech Time workshops, open to audiences ranging from middle-school students to undergraduate level, and occasionally parents.

The introductory cybersecurity CTF is designed and run by LCSP; SUPINFRA prepares and provides the infrastructure and workstations, and I took part in running the workshops.
